Bio:

Originally from Flushing, Queens and raised in Saugerties New York, I am from a family of tradesmen and was fortunate to learn many trade skills I currently enjoy using in restoring my 100+ year old building in Saugerties Village. Earlier, I was invited by a friend of my father's to a Massachusetts college where he recruited college students to work at his Dutchess County campground in the summer. Inspired by this trip, I chose to return to school on the East coast where I rediscovered a love of classical literature and history and newly discovered the wonderful city of Boston. During this time I also discovered abilities in, and a love for, teaching. Upon return to New York, I enrolled in graduate school and upon conclusion of that program began teaching. I have been teaching at WAJ since 2007. Other interests include automobile restoration, woodworking and home remodeling, singing, and attending local acoustical guitar concerts.
